STAR Method

The way people answer interview quest correctly is by using the STAR method. Situation Task Action Result Situation: Describe the situation that you were in or the task that you have finished. You must describe a specific event or situation, not an average description of what you have done in the past. Be sure to give enough detail for the interviewer to understand. This situation can be from a previous job, from collage or from an event out of work/education. Task: What goal were you working toward? Action: Describe the actions you took to address the situation with lots of detail but focus on yourself.  Be careful that you don’t describe what the team or group did when talking about a project, but what you actually did. Use the word "I" not we so you get most the credit. Result: Describe the outcome of your actions and talk about how you're taking credit for your behaviour. What happened? How did the event end? What did you accomplish? What did you learn? Ma...

Personal brands (CV)

Image
These are some cv templates that could help me create my CV.  The thing I like is that there is a rating system with different things like project management and problem solving and there getting rated by stars. My likes for this CV is the format with each line being a different section like education and about me. There is not really anything i dislike about this cv because it looks very professional, neat and tidy.

Practitioners brands (Business cards)

Image
These are existing business cards  people have  created which will inspire my own business card when it gets created. This first one i like the simplicity and how the text merges with the cards colour. The text looks very brittle but glitched and i think that is a key component to hook the customer in. I like how this business card has an avatar on it so it looks more kid friendly but that is also what i don't like about the card. As i have already said it looks very childish. The main thing i like is the amount of colours that is on this card which makes it look very compact and chaotic. Also, the name is in the middles so it would centre the customers eyes which i will incorporate into my card with the claustrophobic feel. My likes ae that its standouts out a lot with a dirty yellow as the colour. However, i dislike the barcode. It's a very unique premise but it doesn't look very good on the card and looks a bit messy.

Keep still - You can't let your arms and legs shake so you just got to keep still and not move. stay calm -  Speak Slowey - This is so your words are clear and they aren't breaking up and misunderstood because it makes you nervous and sound unprofessional keep your arms by your side Ask some questions - This is to show how intrigued you are and that you want to know more. Going into an interview

Before you go to your interview, that could either be a job or to get into a university. You need to: Research the company, University or industry. One of the biggest parts of getting a job or going to a university, collage or school is researching about it.  There are different factors and elements towards researching a place or company they are.  Location- One of the most important factors is knowing where it is. If its a college or university it could be very close. However with jobs it could be close, a few hours drive or even in another country. This would be very important depending on your lifestyle and if you have the resources to get there like a car. Money - This is to see how much you would get paid for the job per hour. However, people need to be careful because if your 16-17 you will get a lower pay rate per hour Talking to the staff in the organisation -  This is with people using zoom, the company phone number and even apps like Linkdln. Interview Feedback

Overall results 4/5 for question 1 5/5 for question 2 5/5 for question 3 Media question 5/5 Verbal and body language 5/5 Timelines 5/5 Appropriate personal presentation 5/5 Technical language and terminology 5/5 asking parental questions 5/5 attitude 5/5  Feedback  WWW: Dressed well for the interview, very confident and passionate and great body language. EBI: Be more in depth in question 1( explaining) and talk slower. The way I achieve both of these is to talk slower by just taking a few deep breaths and to answer more in depth for question 1 by talking about what I did and how I did it.

inspirations.

My inspirations for my techniques when I'm doing my trailers are doctor who and action movie trailers were it goes from scene to scene in quick succession using a dark fade transition.  With my movies the main inspiration of my movies that I have created are a variety of different film genres like documentary, horror and action. My main inspiration are horror properties like Blumhouse. and showrunners of doctor who like Russel t Davis. This is with how one changed the genre of horror for 21st century audiences and how Russel creators characters that are relabel in unbelievable situations.  Blumhouse company                                                                   Russel T Davis

Quick points about me

Firstly, I am a Perseverant, realistic and a visionary. This is because when I'm getting told to start an assignment about a word ideas just pop into my head like an inflated Balloon. For example, recently we had to make a 1 minute/ 1 actor scene and i had multiple ideas. The first was subconsusly. This means that it was all going on in the characters head. I cheated the system by making two actors but there i one mind which the other character has imagined so there not classed as a person so its not another actor. To show my perseverance i: Wrote the script Booked the equipment Made a crew Found the location Hired the actors So what happened was that i had all the equipment and I just needed to sort out the audio but it was finicky and 1 wasn't working so realistically we couldn't do it so we scrapped it. This project also showed that I always have precautions. The reason why is because i wrote another script with a simple setup and a new location. These are other points ...
